Admitted by ambulance with very low bp and severe dehydration, waited in the ambulance for over two hours. The nurse from a&e wanted to do my bloods whilst in the ambulance so they could send me home because I wasn’t a serious enough case. Eventually I was given a cubicle and 3 different people had to attempt to take my bloods and I was told it’s difficult because you are dehydrated. I was eventually given a drip and some time later the doctor came in chaperoned by someone else not sure why to be told nothing on your bloods no point you staying you might as well go home if you stay overnight we won’t do anything more for you. He then put pressure on me to make a choice so I obliged and said I would go home then if you won’t do no more. Throughout my stay I asked 6 different staff for paracetamol including the doctor and nobody bothered to get me a paracetamol. Then one of the nurses came to me to say you can go home now il get someone to take your cannula off. Nobody come for an hour. I rang the bell for half hour nobody still attended to me for another 20 mins. In my view it was appalling how I was treated.
