"Lymes disease"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire New Stobhill Hospital / Mackinnon House University Hospital Hairmyres / General Medicine (Wards 9-12)

(as the patient),

My story started about one and half year ago feeling unwell headaches heart rate was through the roof hysterical episodes, blacking out! Legs arms joint pain and numbness, being sick all day everyday, calling the doctor had about 10/11 course of antibiotics over 2 months. Countless blood tests, cy scans uti scans about 25/30 a/e vists, explaining to my doctor that is something wrong. I had my spleen remover 2006 I had infection after infection but they didn’t want to know.

I said that something was attacking my immune system I thought   it was lymes disease but doctor just shock his head and ignored me, I had to change gp now I am 4 weeks down the line with them all I’ve had is blood tests after blood tests still back and forth to a/e twice in one night because of my heart rate I am terrified I just black out, I’ve had to borrow money from friends for taxis in and out of a/e which over last 4 months is now about £500, my family are not speaking to me as they think it’s my mental health and I need help, I tried to sign myself into a mental health unit at stobhill hospital twice because I didn’t know who else to turn to.

I am still to this day looking for help who do I turn to I am so alone and just had enough. I just want someone to say I will help you, I have been taking immune boosters and other vitamins just to try relieve some symptoms I have joined a lymes support group so some people been sharing there vitamins and supplements but when I don’t know what kind of lymes I got I can’t find the balance.
