"The best mental health ward"

About: Bassetlaw Hospital / Ward B2

(as a service user),

I was admitted into Bassetlaw Mental Health Ward B2 on Dec21st from Highbury. Best thing I've ever done. Knew most of staff from being in before a year ago.

All staff made you feel welcome and any worries just go to any staff member, but I knew that anyway from being in before.

With the covid as well, they had extra pressures on them which they coped with brilliant.

Staff were polite, helpful, and made the effort to listen to you when you was struggling in yourself not just me but I noticed it with most patients that was in B2. I couldn't fault them one bit. They just did that extra bit to reassure you that you would get better. Of all the mental health wards I've been on this was the best out the lot. First rate service and care.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely post about your experience on Ward B2 at Bassetlaw Hospital.

It has been an extremely difficult time for staff and patients in managing the ward along with the additional pressures of Covid issues, but it is good to hear that you feel the ward staff have coped well.

it is great to hear that staff are helpful and polite and that you feel listened to, that is really crucial to help patients recover.

Had 2 admissions on B2 in the past2 years both have been first class care thank you for all the help they gave me
