"Great service in tough times"

About: Warrington Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I became quite ill on a walk and started to feel nauseous. I tried to fight it off overnight, with little effect. It was quite awful, as any illness is, but being a fairly fit man and never been in hospital , I thought the world was ending!

I have to say the paramedics were excellent when they turned up and quickly guided me to the hospital, when Kelly took over.

I was admitted into ambulatory care and Kelly was excellent in keeping me and other patients in the loop and looked after. She was excellent and put my mind at ease, showing compassion throughout.

I was transferred to ward A1 where I was put under the supervision of Natalie.

I think Natalie has 2 twins who work alongside her as she was everywhere doing everything, really showing me how to multitask!

The care and attention shown from start to finish was brilliant and worthy of this mention as during these times we need to help each other in whatever way you can. Normally I would have bought chocolates, however Covid restraints can’t allow that anymore, hence the comment box.

If anyone does have the unfortunate case of having to go into hospital, judging by my experience, you will be totally looked after.

Thank you
