"Covid 19 vaccine appointment"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Vaccination Centre

(as the patient),

Early appointment this morning at 8.20 am at Ulster Hospital.

Have mobility problems but helpful chap from security showed me to the disabled parking bays and also asked if I needed assistance inside the building. Just a short queue and completed the questionnaire noting two reactions to medication. My nurse was very pleasant and thorough regarding the interactions and a consultant also had a chat. I didn't even feel the injection. While waiting afterwards I felt a wee bit unwell so was taken to a cubicle to sit with two of the nurses who again we're very thorough, professional and above all calming and friendly. I cannot fault in any way the organisation involved, the folk looking after us not just nursing staff, reception, security, admin, everyone. We are only there for a short time whereas they do it on a daily basis. They deserve our thanks.
