"Bowel surgery giving me my life back"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery (Wards 16-18)

(as the patient),

I had a stoma formed in 2019 due to a perforated bowel I was originally told a reversal wouldn’t be possible due to radiation damage I then suffered a prolapse which affected the quality of my life badly I got a second opinion from dr Michelle who done a successful reversal giving me back my life I can’t thank this lady enough, she done operation within 2 days of seeing me no messing about, a truly wonderful skilled professional.

I am so pleased to be able to give feedback and that Michelle will receive my gratitude, I also would like to mention the amazing staff in critical care, high dependency and wards 16 and 18, they don’t get the praise they deserve, so it’s great to be able to give feedback.
