We would like to thank the ambulance crew for their prompt attendance and dedication. To the team at ward 106b, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for their kindness, care and compassion shown to Allyson during the time she spent there recently. To Dr Gamble for discussing Allyson’s care with such empathy, making we as a family feel that Allyson was his only patient and concern. To Elaine for her leadership, her team are a credit to her and she achieved an atmosphere both calm and efficient. Both Neil and Katie, Allyson’s nurses, were friendly, sympathetic and professional. We would like to extend our thanks to all of those who cared for Allyson directly and to all of those who work to make the ward run smoothly. We will always be grateful for the time we got to spend with her at the end of her life. It gave us a sense of peace. Your care is much appreciated.
