I was admitted to Ward L14 at LGI for a TAVI procedure. I was anxious and pretty scared but the staff did their best to calm me and answer my questions. From the anaesthetist to the surgeon, I could not have been in better hands. The nursing staff are outstanding under very difficult circumstances, but at no point did I feel at risk of catching Covid 19. If I was able to name all staff concerned I would recommend each one for an award. These professionals are working under very difficult conditions, but make everyone of the patients in their care feel totally safe.
