I came in on the Thursday morning of 14/1 for a partial nephrectomy and a prostate scrape. I was ushered in to the operating theatre around 8.30ish am. I came round and was moved to a side room in Ward 26 for observation. Later that day I was moved into the main ward itself and spent the next 3.5 days there.
The whole time I was there everyone on the staff so was helpful, friendly and professional. I wish I could remember names but it's no big deal as EVERYONE was superb.
The ward itself was spotless.....kudos to the cleaners, and even the food, when I felt hungry was highly edible.
In all...I had a most enjoyable (if you can call hospitalisation enjoyable that is) experience.
With all the crap going on in the world at the moment I really don't know how the doctors/nurses/support staff could always remain so cheerful.
All in all.....absolutely NO complaints about anything.
Thank you Leicester......you were brilliant.
