Generally100% good when diagnosing and treating my cancer, but unfortunately was recently given my regular 3 monthly injection but an unfamiliar nurse who didn’t seem quite sure of where to inject me, (alternative arms, as I have been given for the past 3 years with no problems or pain) Suggested in my tummy. I told her how I had been injected regularity and she said “Oh, it doesn’t matter” She proceeded to inject my left arm and this time I felt a sharp pain, something I never felt with any previous jabs. I went straight home and told my wife that my arm was unusually painful and shortly a lump appeared which eventually turned into an angry cyst which remains to this day. I arranger for a doctor to examine it, but was told that due to the pressure they were under, which I fully appreciated, I should send a photo and the doctor would check it out and advise me accordingly. The injection was done last November and it still is there and causing me concern, so I called Westcourt and requested that a doctor physically examined it and was told that if I could come tomorrow at 8am (today) someone would examine it. I arrived at 8am and when I spoke to the receptionist, she said they had no record of any such request.”Go back and phone up” she said. I did and am currently waiting for said call. As I said, usually brilliant service, but sadly in this case not over impressed. My wife and I had the first coved injection yesterday and it couldn’t have been better organised so I appreciate this is just an admin error, but I am making sure I don’t get that particular nurse next month for my regular jab.
"Sometimes 5 star, sometimes 1."
