Receptionists now will not assist callers, all queries must be submitted online and they will get back to you within 2 days (as per their phone message that lasts 10 minutes before you even get added to the queue, to then wait again to be told you MUST go online). So if you have a more complex issue then you are expected to write about it and submit it online in the hope that you will be worthy of an appointment. The form says they might decide to just send you a message(!)

The doctors at AW have always been great, and patients have had to overlook the poor service provided by the reception team - I genuinely didn't believe that poor service could get worse.

I appreciate the issues that COVID has caused, I have worked through it myself in a healthcare environment; however, this handling of patients is a huge deterrent to seeking medical advice, and for receptionists to be absolved of all requirement to assist... what is the point?
