Surgery is now lacking any continuity of Doctors - as the main Doctors are no longer there or make a very rare appearance or even contact you via phone appointment when asked to - There now always seems to be Locum Doctors who do not know you or your past medical problems, which does not help patients at all, time is lost explaining your problems and then you might forget what you needed to say.Not the locums fault, but i feel that of the surgery and management in maintaining the continuity of its Doctors who are or were employed to be there full time...Furthermore one staff member (receptionist) who is at the counter most of the time is very rude and abrupt, and really needs to learn some people skills and indeed manners associated with politeness & courtesy. Yes WE ARE ALL working in unprecidented times, but manners cost nothing no matter what race you are. This surgery was getting better bit by bit and slowly, but now seems like it is going in the wrong direction...When trying to get through via telephone it rings and rings and no one answers for ages, one day i tried over 35 times to get through and when i did, there was no apology for the delay and that was during the daytime. I have seen staff sitting at the counter letting the phone ring and they just ignore it, probably in the hope of someone else answering it.
Think it is about time something was done with this surgery and someone answered for the lack of support for their Patients health & well being which they are paid to do, despite the Covid problems that everyone now seems to be using as an excuse, yes it is bad, but precaustions are being taken, but that should not stop people doing their job..... Wish i could find another surgery, that had less patients to cater for as well, as i think this one has far to many per doctor available. Would i recommend it - No Sorry
