What I liked
Nothing
What could be improved
Evrrything on the whole ward WARD 4 I could not believe the discusting treatment the patients recieved!
Anything else?
My dad was is ward 4 after a serious op I went to visit and simply had to walk out for a start my dad is on regular tablets morning and night for many different thing the nurse said they had to deal with them! My dad did not hav his tablets brought untill after dinnertime when he had requested them at 7am (his usual time) aswell as the delay they brought compleatley the wrong tablets Not very vigilant if you ask me! He requested a dtink at tea time and had one brought at 2am yes AM. Im a deputy mamager for a care home where cqc is the governing body same as with hospitals and I must say if cqc(care quality commission) came in and saw us treating our residents like they do on ward 4 they would shut us down! Something needs doing there were people on the ward far worse than my dad! There was not 1 nurse that had an ounce of empathy or respect the attitudes of them wher discustin! One man had a cage around his head and neck he could only move his arms a little the staff nurse went to him said "oh do you want a drink" the man replied yes so the nurse poored him some water in a cup at the bottom of his bed and walked away leaving my mum in her sympathy giving the man a drink! Then the same staff nurse asked if the man needed the loo again the man said yes so the male nurse sent a female nurse in to toilet the man in his bed! Where is the dignity why if he is not busy could he not do it been a man! It was a mixd ward and my dad only had shorts on and he needed the bathroom so he said to a nurse can I just bother you please to which she said no very abrupt my.dad continued to say I only need the loo and wanted to know if I have to put my dressing gown on with it been mixd ward she replied "what are you asking me that for are you.stupid im not even your nurse yes just go to the toilet" I have alot more to say but do not have the room!!
"Discusting I cant say a good word about that ward...."
