"Extremely hard to contact"

About: Emersons Green Medical Centre

I have been with the surgery since 2015. When I have had reason to attend the surgery, the staff are always polite, helpful and understanding. The surgery seems to run reasonably to time. I can't complain on that front.

BUT.....

Getting hold of the surgery is extremely difficult. Due to Covid, walk-ins are not recommended so the phone is the only real option. Today (January 18th) I tried to call 37 times, only to get a constant engaged tone. Historically, this surgery has had issues with its phone system which we were told was fixed so I can only assume this is a human factor. Whether they are so busy the phone is red hot or being left 'off the hook' is irrelevant.

Many thanks for leaving feedback for our Emersons Green Medical Centre. With regard to the telephone we are having some teething problems with our new system where land lines are working and being put in a que however some phone calls from mobiles are just getting busy tone. This is currently being looked at by Bistech and hopefully a solution to the issue with be solved.
