Everyone appreciate that GP surgery (and most other medical/health institutes) are under pressure n 2020! Having said that the phone booking process at Parchmore Medical Centre starts at 8am, you are advised your number in the queue and after 20/30/60 minutes when your number is 1 and they about to answer, they or their phone systems drops the call!! Then you start the same process again, another 20/30/60 minutes later, if they answer, we were told that they have under staff of doctors on the day and asked to call GP hub or somewhere else and they put the phone down on you!!! ridiculous and frustrating are the only civilised words I could write! We have been to practice in recent past when the staffs are chatting when the phone was kept ringing, one staff went out few times for a smoke in less than 1 hour!! This practice NOT run professionally to say the least. I sincerely hope the change in practice manager, staff with human attitude and much more professional planning on how to deal with under staff of doctors, staff mannerism and how best to deal with patients who are angry and frustrated with their services!!
