"Terrible Service"

I joined this surgery as the previous one moved and this one was more convenient. It was a bad mistake coming here however as the service is terrible. As the surgery is not seeing people face-to-face because of COVID, consultations are done by telephone, you either get a call back or you don’t. If you miss the call back you have to phone again the following day and start from scratch. When I tried to get a prescription the doctor I spoke to didn’t seem to know what to prescribe and passed the buck to a clinician who didn’t ring for over a week. The call back was from a suspicious number and when I went to chase up the enquiry the answering machine was on all day and the door to the surgery was bolted. They then sent the medication I didn't want to the chemist which is what happened on the previous occasion as well. On another occasion they couldn’t find the paper prescription. The problem is they don’t listen to you and just want to get rid of you. Some of the staff lack experience and are not clued up. This practice is dragging down the NHS brand.
