"Very poor"

About: Thorndike Surgery

Complete failure to ensure prescriptions are authorised. Have had to make multiple phone calls to sort medication and have endured days without my medication. Have used prescription email service but have come to conclusion no one reads them. Was told last week that I need a drug review even though my drugs had run out and have been told I can’t talk to a GP for 2 weeks. I know they are under pressure but I’m coming to the conclusion I need to change practices as I feel my health is being affected by their poor service.

I am very sorry that you have been experiencing difficulties and are very unsatisfied with our service and staff.

I would like to investigate your comments further but as you have left your comment anonymously I am reliant on you contacting me. Please do so by addressing your concerns for the attention of the Practice Manager at thorndike@nhs.net

The email address for prescriptions is mccg.thorndike.prescriptions@nhs.net and is monitored through out the day.

We are under extreme pressure and our staff are also being struck down by the Corona virus, we are endeavouring to continue to provide for our patients routine care as taking part in the Covid vaccination clinics.

Please accept my apologises for having not met your expectations.

Practice Manager
