Where does a very reasonable person begin? A recorded diatribe of warnings about behaviour and abuse not being tolerated? And an endless choice of closed doors to achieve your goal dictated by one of those seemingly uneducated megalomaiacal receptionists of whom we are so depressingly aware? Honestly the worst case of NHs private business I have ever ever seen. EG this week I tied to book in a blood test. No joy. Before that,I tried to book in a flu jab having been bestowed a letter from central NHS instructing me to do so due my age and covid danger etc. But oh no, the extremely unhelpful woman at the other end of line said no clinics of said Flu jabs were as yet available and continued to direct me to what seemed like 325 websites including facebook whereby i may happen upon the chance of receiving a green light to book one of the aforementioned elusive, if not impossible bookings. Now, call me old fashioned, but what the hell chance do the very elderly have to talk to the non existent doctors if I struggle at the age of 57? Tell you what, none.This is just my beginning . Docs lovely, but who manages this will not end here.
