"Some good some bad at this practice, "

About: Red and Green Practice

My comments are not to do with my last appointment with my named GP as that was ok and good if can get to see that named person. (See, I'm even having to avoid gender in criteria for my review, not helpful.)

My point is that the practice has gone downhill over the years and can be very uncaring towards the patient if you get the wrong person. I have been there since 1985. June 2018, I was very ill and suicidal and was treated badly, doctor on my emergency appointment argued semantics as to whether I had suicidal thoughts or was suicidal and didn't get me any help. Luckily, a private sector psychologist gave me an emergency appointment and then kept me on and saved me. Roll forward to March 2020 and I had a "don't darken our doorstep" type of text at the start of Covid. I complied despite severe foot inflammation in October and December 2020. I felt the practice wouldn't care as I hadn't had a follow up text saying how to get help. I had a flu injection invite in December which I declined as they're not good for my conditions and got a bossy NHS letter 8Jan almost telling me it was my national duty to have one. Can't they understand my wishes? I am not a number to be bossed about by NHS and a practice I feel doesn't particularly care about me and my welfare. I mainly now pay for private care in order to be treated as a person with needs
