I was a little rude to a receptionist and I would firstly like to send my apology to her. I was frustrated as for 10 days of trying to speak to a doctor I was told ring back tomorrow at 9am and then when I finally got through I was told to phone back at 2pm and this went on for 2 full weeks, I had no medication and the receptionists just kept saying they are full. I didn't feel anyone was listening and I was very rude but I just didn't know what to do, I'd start phoning 5 minutes before 9am and the answer phone was still on until they answered around 9.20am and it was the same thing at 2pm. I felt all I needed was something for a chest infection but like I said no one was listening. I do understand all the pressure the surgery and staff are under and I think staff, doctors and nurses at this surgery are second to none and I rate you all very highly, but please also understand I have been terrified about my breathing for a few years before this covid-19 started to spread and I know I'm not a doctor but I do know when I have a chest infection and need help. All I'm asking is please stop making appointments a telephone lottery, I was really scared and just needed my inhaler topped up and something for my chest. In the past and all through this pandemic I've not bothered the surgery and not phoned when maybe I should have but knew there was probably in more need than myself, but this time I did just need 2 minutes and lost it, sorry again for my behaviour. 9.5 out of 10 and the viruses fault that its not 10 out of 10
