"Become a first-time mum"

About: Lorn & Islands Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

My pregnancy journey started last spring in a small town in the Highlands, in Oban. I would like to thank the Maternity Unit here especially Katherine, who has been with me during the 9 months. I felt safe all way long because I've got all the information that I needed, or even more. She supported me emotionally too, I could not wait for the appointments to check how my baby was developing. I'm so happy because I could be a part of a hypnobirthing online course as well held be Heather, who taught great breathing techniques and gave practical information about giving birth in the county.

Also, I was getting into labor in the Maternity Unit, Rosie and Ros played a huge part in my well-being. They helped me to focus on how I wanted to manage my labor and gave me comfort as much as it was possible.

I have to say holding my baby in my arm that I could not wish for more support or better pregnancy. Thanks, Everyone for doing an amazing job in Oban and Paisley.

Thank you hydrussz84 for taking the time to give such positive feedback. Congratulations on the birth of your baby, it is wonderful; to hear what a positive experience you have had.

I will make sure that Katherine and the team are aware of you positive words.

I am glad that you found the virtual hypnobirthing course with Heather helpful, it is great to get that feedback.

Best wishes to you and your baby
