"Terrible communication problems"

About: Staunton Group Practice

I have received a letter and text reminder for an appointment at this surgeries Diabetic Eye Clinic. I have been endlessly left in a queue on the switchboard system then cut off. The email address given on the letter is not valid and keeps being returned. A very shoddy service to say the least in particular during a Pandemic.

Thank you for posting your comment. Please note that the Diabetic Eye screening team is one of the services that uses are premises for their clinics. Their patients are booked through their own service provider and not through the Staunton Practice reception line. Each patient that has an appointment for the Diabetic Eye Screening service receives a letter that states when their appointment is scheduled and also; listed on the letter is the Diabetic Eye screening phone number not the Staunton Group Surgeries phone number should their patients need further information or need to cancel their appointment. Since I do not have your contact details I will inform the diabetic eye screening team lead on site of the experience you have had while trying to contact them.

Please note that all our correspondence have our contact details as well as our email address and web site address.
