Over the first few sessions it never really felt like we clicked, it felt like the counsellor didn't want to be in the sessions. I felt like I was constantly being judged, with them having decided what the problem was and leading all questions towards that while disregarding my answers if they didn't match up with their thinking.
In my last session (having now changed counsellors) we made what could have been a breakthrough, leading me to really re-think a situation and question why I returned to a particular behaviour, however, within a matter of seconds they said the session was over and hung up the phone. This left me reeling, fundamentally questioning who I am and why I do something for over a week, causing me to be incredibly anxious and closed off. Upon speaking to my doctors they've explained that this should never have happened and can be quite dangerous and as such I do not recommend this service.
