Great online course... Well presented and so informative

Delivered by Malachy and excellent course.

Made me so aware of what to eat and drink to prevent diabetes and weight gain and to have a better lifestyle.

Should be delivered widely to the public as so much good advice for everyone.

Good Afternoon

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the Diabetes Prevention Programme in the Southern Health and Social Services Trust. I am delighted that the Diabetes prevention programme has enabled you to make changes to your lifestyle and reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The service has under gone some changes in the last number of months due to Covid pandemic and has been adapted to an online service using ZOOM instead of a face to face group setting. This has enabled us to reach a larger group of patients who previously may not have to used this service. Combined with face to face groups when Covid restrictions are lifted the Diabetes prevention service will be able to reach a larger group of patients that before. With the emerging evidence that those diagnosed with Diabetes are among the most effected by Covid this give further validation for the need of a Diabetes prevention service with in the trust.

I have shared this feedback with the wider Diabetes Prevention team and they are delighted with this feedback and your progress.
