About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

I have a history of 6 skin cancers and my GP's latest urgent, 2 weeks, referral to the DGH Dermatology Dept was dealt with in an exemplary manner. Firstly I was invited to send photos of the my latest lesion using a new MySkinDoctor smartphone app. A few hours later a dermatologist telephoned me to advise me that I probably didn't have another skin cancer. Three days later I had an appointment at the DGH where another dermatologist confirmed the earlier diagnosis then gave me a full body inspection. Thanks to the app and the two dermatologists, I received outstanding support in all respects.
