About: The New Folly Surgery

Went for a PAP smear that had been cancelled two times beforehand, booked in for 0830 and arrived 10 minutes early. Doors were locked and after buzzing numerous times, waiting in the January cold for 25 minutes, a receptionist finally came. She rudely told me my appointment was for 0830, which I then explained I was here, ringing the doorbell and knocking, then tried to call. Then she said 'it doesn't matter anyway because all appointments are cancelled due to COVID, so we can't see patients - there were texts sent out this morning'. I didn't receive a text, as I told her and she said 'you'll have to rebook once this is over, but your cervical smear is really important so you do have to do it' in front of another male patient!!! Absolutely appalled, and previous calls have been a nightmare due to reception's icy reception and terrible manners!!
