About: Grantham & District Hospital / Accident and emergency Lincoln County Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I went in for emergency appendectomy, I was feeling under the weather.

I was sent to Grantham first as it was closest to me and I didn’t fancy driving due to feeling sick and generally very unwell , after being seen in under 20 mins I was asked if I could arrange to have someone take me to Lincoln (unfortunately not an option) I could have waited 6hrs for an ambulance to transfer me , or if I felt up to it drive my self (after the staff agreed it was safe so long as I stopped and call 999 if I became worse)

So off I went to Lincoln 👍SEAU/SAU

I am feeling better thanks and taking it very very steady.

Me and my family are so great full to all the staff of the nhs that helped me so much I really was so touched by all of you.

unfortunately I can only remember a few names below .
