"Great emergency care"

I had a fall in the fells on Xmas Day and was picked up amazingly quickly by ambulance, which took me to Carlisle. Various tests (incl. COVID) were done and diagnosis (patella tendon detachment) was made quickly. I was discharged with plenty of support and clear instructions about next steps (operation within 2 days). Throughout, every member of the team was upbeat (despite it being Xmas Day), professional and competent. I felt I was in the right place, which was very reassuring.
