"Better Customer Care"

About: Horton General Hospital

Brought daughter to see out-of-hours doctor in the evening at Fiennes centre on Boxing Day. Came by taxi from surrounding village. Never been before but had to get to the appointment within an hour and a half of being told to go. Not met at door but when let in followed sign to waiting room. Nurse came in, asked me to leave because `we're in the middle of a pandemic' (as if I didn't know!). Had to stand outside in Storm Bella conditions for over an hour. Only 2 patients in that part of the centre and at least 4 staff sitting chatting. No urgency, not under pressure. Could have asked me if I had a car to sit in/my age (69)/could have put me in an empty room. None of that. Could see me on internal camera walking up and down outside to keep warm. I know things are difficult with Covid but there was only an officious attitude and no thought beyond that attitude. Sorry, not impressed.
