"Very confusing"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

I accessed the hospital for severe alcohol withdrawal and was initially treated very well. Then for some reason I was transferred to a completely inappropriate ward and was effectively held hostage for 5 days with very little explanation absolutely no treatment and no possible way of discharge, just plied with drugs. I admit to feeling completely traumatised by the experience. I was supposed to be waiting for several test results but these were not forthcoming. Very confusing and traumatic experience despite the great care at the beginning
