My wife underwent hip replacement surgery in November this year, and following the procedure she had a seizure which gave some concern. The problem was made worse by a telephone difficulty, and I was not able to discover her condition due to this. Finally my son was able to make contact with registrar who spent some considerable time explain the problem, and the treatments my wife was receiving. She, the registrar could not have been more kinder, sympathetic and reassuring, and her call was of great comfort to the family. She even went to the lengths of telephoning my son the following morning to give us a progress report, and details of the treatments my wife had had since her last call the previous evening. I cannot thank all the staff involved in my wife's treatment enough . They all gave the the best possible care, and my family join me in expressing their combined gratitude. This the NHS at it's best. Thank you again.
