"My treatment while in MAU"

About: Causeway Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Causeway Hospital with Coronavirus after becoming unwell. I was admitted to the Medical Assessment Unit and stayed for 10 nights. The treatment I got over this period was excellent and the nurses, doctors and auxiliary staff are a credit to themselves and to the NHS. I am very thankful and grateful for the NHS as without them Im not sure I would have had such a positive outcome.

thank you so much for posting this great feedback about your care while in the Medical Assessment Unit. It is great to hear that the care you received appears to have had such a positive outcome. The staff will really appreciate hearing that their efforts in what are difficult circumstances are both effective and appreciated
