"Bad service"

I went with a shoulder injury was told I needed a scan but never heard nothing else ended up in a and e then got referred back to the surgeon and booked for another scan again heard nothing can't blame the surgeon or the team at a and e but it seems the system is failing and I am left in extreme pain which is affecting my work and life. If the NHS in Cumbria are not doing scans due to covid at least have the decency to let people know and not let people think they are getting treated when they are not

We are very sorry to receive your comments and concerns via the NHS website about your experience of our A&E department and lack of subsequent referral to radiology.

We take all issues surrounding patient care very seriously and it is disappointing to read that you feel the system is failing you.

The events that you describe are not our usual standard and are clearly very distressing for you; being in pain is never easy when it affects your day to day life.

Without further investigation it is difficult to ascertain what went wrong and due to your anonymity (no contact details) I am unable to look into this any further at the moment.
