"Caring staff but poor system"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

All the staff at the antenatal department are friendly and caring. However, coming to the department for a scan and to see the doctor always takes between 2 and 3 hours with a lot of waiting. This was the same when i had my other daughter 2 years ago. I wondered if something could be done to review the system and prevent pregnant ladies waiting for so long each time.

Thank you for your comment and I appreciate that you posted this some time ago, however we have just had access to respond.

I have seen a few comments about the wait in our antenatal department and we have used the restrictions during COVID to refine our appointment system and timings to reduce the waiting for mothers to be and their partners.

We will be monitoring feedback to see if we need to do anything else.

Thank you again for taking the time to feedback as it helps us improve our services.

Best wishes

Krishna
