Yesterday I had a sigmoidoscopy at Perth Royal Infirmary. Everything was good. Nothing required improvement. The staff were all caring, polite and efficient. The same can be said for the staff at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee three years ago in the urology department when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. And again when I had radiotherapy treatment in the oncology department. The same continues today when I am being supervised by the department's wellbeing service. Full marks to the NHS who are doing their very at all times and in particular during this pandemic.
