About: The Towans Care Home

(as a relative),

My Nan is a resident in the Towans Care home, Burnham on Sea. She has lived here for just over a year. All the staff are amazing, caring and passionate about their jobs. They have worked endlessly during Covid. Keeping up to date with local and national guidance. 

The interaction and activates they carry out and excellent. Keeping my nan mentally stimulated. They keep family members updated via social media which is lovely to see. Especially during lockdown when we haven't been able to visit. This has been so important to us as a family as it was such a hard decision for her to move from her own home. 

Keep doing what your doing, you really are angels

Dear Story Writer

I was so pleased to see this post - thank you so much and I have let the staff know. I hope you managed to catch up with our video of Christmas Day that was posted on Facebook, we so wanted our lovely Residents to have a good time despite the need to keep everyone safe, it has been so hard for everyone. Our staff have started to be vaccinated now although we have not been at the top of the queue, they put themselves out and they queued in the freezing cold late on New Years Eve and Saturday morning - they really want everyone to be safe so very good for them! Sorry its taken a while to respond but I had to get 'set up' on this system.
