My poor mum is having a nightmare with her prescription she had a consultation with the in house pharmacist, who has amended her prescription, she felt railroaded into it and has tried to get it amended back to her original medication. She has left a message for him and he still hasn't phone back, she has also had nothing but grief regarding her prescription over the last 8/9 months and it's nigh on impossible to get in touch with the practice. She has already been in hospital for a stroke and this is making her ill due to the stress you are putting her under. On top of this she is unable to get an appointment unless she contacts you via a computer. My mum doesn't even have the internet! What is wrong with still allowing elderly client appointments/call backs via them phoning your practice and asking for this (not everyone has access to a computer, this is a ridiculous system and is penalizing the elderly, she is also very independent and wants to sort her own situation out but I'm appalled by how this is turning out. Lack of care for our elderly.
She is going to call again tomorrow Wednesday 16th December I hope she has more joy than she's had recently.
