Having moved to to the area I joined this medical practice.

I'm a professional in full time employment and I employ around 3000 here in the UK, so time is precious (no more precious than anyone else's I grant you!). Unfortunately I have a few ailments that need to be kept in check, one being high blood pressure / hypertension. Heres where my issue is.....getting to see a doctor is almost impossible!! yes I know these are testing times with covid, and of course I took that in to consideration before writing this review. But my word, the lack of compassion and any shred of empathy from the reception staff is simply shocking. I called today to see if I could talk to a GP by phone because Im in a fair amount of pain at the moment, I was told (rather sarcastically) to call 111 or go to hospital!!! is this the way we speak to people now?? when I said it wasn't a medical emergency but I was concerned and in a little pain and that my BP was 155/91, the receptionist then said "well call tomorrow if you want and we will try to fit you in then".....shocking!

I actually had another altercation with reception yesterday which resulted in her basically calling me a liar! after explaining that I had already presented all of the documents they requested so that I could register for patient access..... I was told "no you havent" so I had to leave my place of work again and get the documents to take to reception AGAIN!!! I'm sure that if I ever get to see or speak with a doctor at this practice he / she will be very professional and courteous ....... I only wish the receptionists would be the same.

Very disappointed and very sorry that I left Lawley Medical Practice where the receptionists know how to be civil and have empathy for everyone!
