"Preparation for CT Scan with Contrast"

About: Victoria Hospital / Day Intervention Unit

(as the patient),

I had a canula inserted after my personal details were recorded. A saline solution was administered 1 hour before the CT Scan.

I was accompanied to the CT Scan Room.

On returning to the Day Unit I had a 6 hour period where additional saline was administered. I am a kidney transplant patient and this procedure was required.

S/N Bobby McQuade looked after me throughout. I was really well looked after and supplied with cups of tea and toast.

Excellent treatment and Care.
