Had been consented back in June for some steroid injections in my foot. Literally had the phone call the other day to ask if l wished to attend. I did feel a bit nervous as not a fan of needles myself. I couldn't of been reassured more by two fab ladies! I had a fab reg called Rachel and a specialist nurse Chrissie. A chat, a laugh and a giggle discussed our different job roles. A bit uncomfortable but not horrid by any stretch! Orthopaedics should be very proud that these two work in their dept. Patient interaction is so vital when us folk are a bit nervous and a kind smile goes a long way. Might bring cake next time for you!!!
