About: At Medics - the Loxford Practice

Good morning,

Today i contacted this clinic around 11 o’clock and they refused to appoint me a change of dressings after a big surgery i had yesterday. They say that i need to go to the hospital to do this.

This kind of work usually takes 5mins or 10 max and my question now is how come are they already full at 11? Why are they still taking calls? Why they didn’t tried to appoint to tomorrow and simply sended me straight away to barking hospital? This is not acceptable, the hospitals are there for more urgent case scenarios than a dressing change, and makes no sense in my head to pass a full day on a hospital to do a 5-10min work and fulfill resources that could have been used for urgent situations than my easy job.

The person that talked to me was rude, not friendly, didn't wanted to help, this is not the kind of people you want working on nhs services, we all deserve to be treated good.
