About: Ambrose Avenue Group Practice

Had a phone appointment mid November and got fobbed off and told to apply lip balm to a skin rash, had another phone appointment and got prescribed a cream that made it even worse as it was a steroid cream that aggregated it. Then got given a video call with a different doctor and the cream prescribed this time has caused my skin to blister and weep. I’ve now been trying since Thursday last week to get an appointment. Called this morning (Monday) at 8am and got through to be on hold for 19 minutes, finally got through and no appointments to see a doctor, a call has been arranged to speak to a nurse tonight who will then be able to triage me for another day. This all started mid November and we are a month later with no result and a worse problem than the start. The service at the surgery at the minute is appalling and whoever I spoke to this morning was nothing but rude.

I am very sorry that you felt that you feel that you did not receive the high level of standard we would like all patients to have received.

I do hope this problem has now been resolved.

We would like to thank you for your feedback and we will share this with the team.
