I have twice had IVIG treatment at the Medical Day Unit, at least I hope that's the right name. Whilst I would not recommend needing IVIG, if you do need it, I cannot believe there is a better place than there! Wonderful nursing, peaceful calm room, excellent tea/coffee/biscuits/lunch etc. Really, really great.
To say I am looking forward to the next dose might be a slight exaggeration, but only slight. thank you to EVERYONE involved.
I feel this is rather inadequate but it is not meant to be.
