My mother who is crippled with Osteoporosis was left waiting for over 15 Minutes in the cold today. By the time she was let in the practice she was crying with pain. This should not be allowed to happen to your elderly patients. If you have a blood test you are allowed in the practice to wait, so what is the difference?

This is disgraceful treatment and your patient care needs to be reviewed.

Thank you for your comments and I'm sorry to hear your mother was upset. As you are probably aware the surgery has restricted access during the Covid pandemic in order to protect both staff and patients and the only way we can do that is to strictly control access to the surgery. For your information the Bloods section of the building are nothing to do with the surgery and we have no control on what they do or not do, if they choose to let patients into their waiting area which increases risk then that is up to them. The building is old and we have very little choice on how we can restrict access. Practice manager
