An elderly relative of mine in their 80s was referred to Pembleton Ward after having a mental health breakdown. They were suffering from acute anxiety, depression and confusion, which ended up manifesting as severe paranoia. It was extremely distressing to witness. The staff at Pembleton have been caring for my relative for just over a year, the standard of care has been exemplary. Staff have been nothing but supportive, kind, considerate and courteous - sometimes in very trying circumstances, which I have personally witnessed - both to my relative and myself. My relative was finally released into a care home this month - they didn't want to leave! I cannot thank the staff enough for the service they are offering, I think my relative would not be here today without them. Thank you.
"Outstanding care and service"
