About: Enys Road Surgery

I find this to be a luck of the draw kind of practice. Most of the admin team are polite, efficient and friendly, but there are exceptions (so I find myself trying to avoid this individual person on the phones).

As to the quality of care, if you have an acute problem, you're golden here, they take care of you. They are not the kind of doctors to withhold prescriptions. But in my case I have a chronic pain syndrome, and I am made to feel like a problem they wish would disappear. I know those with chronic conditions can be difficult to manage (especially those that will have their conditions for life), but I have been round the houses with doctors here and been told one way or another (some very rudely, others very gently and kindly) that there is no magic pill/cure and there's nothing more they can do for me. I am often treated like I'm fishing for medications, when all I really want is help and support with managing my condition. I need one doctor to be my advocate, to really read up on my condition and to tell me they wish to help me, but I can't find that at this practice. I'll be finding a new practice to register with now after many years of being with this one. I will be sorry to leave though, for most other small matters they have been great.
