"Looked after by a lovely doctor"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My 92 year old mum became ill at the supermarket in Stockport. Paramedics took her to hospital for blood tests, ECG etc. She was looked after by a lovely doctor whose name she doesn't know. He couldn't do enough for her. Made sure she was warm, got her a cup of tea not in a mug. Eventually when she was allowed to go home he rang her friend at her sheltered accommodation to fetch her. He then got a wheelchair and took mum to the car and helped her in. You can not fault the kindness shown to mum in these very trying times. Thankyou and merry xmas.

Thank you for taking the time to share your Mum’s recent experience with us.

I hope that she is recovering well.

It's good to hear that she was so well cared for by our Doctor throughout her time with us.

I will most definitely pass your kind words and lovely comments to the teams who looked after your Mum
