What an amazing Dr! My son is only three and needed an ultrasound of his Neck due to a lump. My son was so anxious and upset about attending as is scared of the masks we all have to wear due to the pandemic. The DR came out to greet us in reindeer ears complete with a red nose drawn on his mask. This immediately made my son want to go with him for the scan which was something I was worried he wouldn’t be happy doing.
He was a lovely Dr and explained everything so well in a way my son understood so he knew what was about to happen. He also explained to me so well afterward about what he had looked for and reassured me all was well. This has taken a weight of my mind as I’ve been a little worried about the lump and now feel so much better.
Going the extra mile like he did to make sure my son wasn’t scared really made it a pleasant experience for him, and made all the difference.
Thank you so much for making my little boys day. He has talked of nothing else since we left this afternoon and was so excited to have had his scan done by a real reindeer!
