(as a service user),

During lockdown they have kept me sane by phone calls, Zoom meetings and training (when it was allowed).

Also during lockdown keeping me mobile by supplying long cane tips as I wore them out having g to walk everywhere.

Thank you so much.  I appreciate your care during 2020.  Roll on normality!

I also attended the Macular unity in the Mater during the last six months.  Received my essential eye injections but very reassured by staff care and social distancing where possible.  Thank you Mater Hospital in this very difficult year!

Dear Jaaja,

Thank you for telling us about your experience at the Macular Unit during the last six months.

I appreciate that you may have felt anxious about attending the Mater Hospital but I am so pleased to hear that you were reassured by the safety measures and that you appreciated the care you received from our staff.

In this difficult year, as you describe it, it is so good to hear that the care that our staff have given has made such an impact on you and I will be sure to pass your compliments on to the team.
