"Caring and efficient "

I struggled with long term health chronic and acute health problems, every member of staff I have met at heartwood surgery have been the greatest listeners, and have worked with me in partnership to keep me well. The care and understanding offered to my disabled son and wife has taken away the strain from me, they have gained my sons trust, which has taken time patience and skill. I can’t thank the whole team there enough , from the receptionists who take my calls, when I’m struggling to breathe, to the nurses and doctors who patch me up and get me back on my feet, both in mind and body. In regard to the new systems brought about by Covid , I feel staff have more time to speak to more people. Ordering medications on line, is easy and great , messaging the surgery for non emergency inquiries I am yet to use, but all great, for people like myself, dropping a message about variable medications and minor ailments that occur because if my medication regime, saves the doctors time, that could be well spent with someone who is in need. For me, the practice does seem to be striking a good balance between efficiency and caring , and I’m extremely happy to be listed as a patient there.
